Straits Asia Resources Ltd,a coal miner controlled by Thailand's PTT Plc, said coal sales from its mines in Indonesia may climb by a third next year.
The company plans to sell 11 million to 12 million tons of coal from Indonesia next year, compared with an estimate of 9 million this year,chief financial officer Graeme Tivey said.
The company was also seeking to borrow US$250 million to refinance debt that matures next year, he added.
